Ooops I’ve done it again. I have promised to be better at posting blogs, only to get distracted by sunny Australian beaches, lazy Game of Thrones nights and wine…Sorry!
But on the plus side, my lazy winter procrastinations (yes it is pretty cold here in Sydney) has meant that I have been testing out a vast variety of home made pamper treatments and have discovered this tropical blend.
During a long weekend break to Byron Bay with my lovely friend Kate, we binged on episodes of Lost, windy beach walks and this AMAZING avocado, lime and coconut yogurt face mask. We honestly got so addicted we indulged 3 nights in a row, and left the party beach atmosphere of Byron looking more glowing and refreshed than when we arrived! Bbbrrrrr, it’s getting chilly over here! As the Aussie summer gives way to (a still fairly respectable 25-30 degree) autumn, I’m starting to prep myself for a new wardrobe and a new skin routine. And though Winter is officially over back home in the UK in just a couple of days, word on the street is its still pretty cold over there too, so there’s still time for my lovelies on the other side of the world to benefit from my lazy wise words of wisdom.

Today I am a very happy lazy green lady indeed. After months of testing out various natural/vegan/ethical/ toiletries and never quite being inspired enough to review them here…I have found a regime that works! And the best thing of all? They’re all plastic free!
As a self confessed pamper-holic, I have literally tried dozens of hair products, toothpastes, shower gels etc over the last few months; desperately trying to find products that meet my ethics AND actually work. But the answer was right under my nose, in a place I had always disregarded as “that stinky place on the high street”. Continue reading 5 Steps to a Plastic Free Bathroom: My Lush Loot
I’m excited. It’s Saturday morning, my cold has gone and this morning I received a parcel containing something free! Always a good start to the weekend…
The reason I hadn’t paid for the Pure Chimp Super Cleanser inside, was because I’d managed to break my spell of never winning anything in my life, and won a competition with The Vegan Society earlier this month. And of all the competitions I’ve entered in the past – from holidays and cars, to electric powered cat hair removers – I feel justice has been served by winning what I may well now define as my new favourite cleanser!
